Fashion Tramp designer Andy Davis is at it again! She is the genius behind the Utili-lavalava. Have you ever been to a tiki party or luau and you have no where in your sarong to keep your keys, wallet, etc.? Andy has your answer!

Utili-lavalavas are Andy's take on the traditional sarongs or lavalavas worn by Polynesians but they are updated with pockets.
Andy says, "It was an idea born from an online conversation with friends on the Fraternal Order of Moai website, Fraternalorderofmoai.org. about the comfort of lavalavas. But where do you put your wallet? A Utili-lavalava was born."

"A Utili-lavalava is a tradtional sarong that I have added pockets with flaps that have coconut buttons. A Utili-lavalava is about 2 yards of fabric wrapped and tied or rolled securely. I have been making them in barkcloth in tapa prints, but they can be made in any fabric or print you choose. They can be dressed up with a jacket and tie or dressed down with an aloha shirt. Once you wear one you won't want to go back to pants."
