BAMN! Automat in New York City
A few weeks back I saw a little snippet on the Today Show about this automat that opened up in New York City. I knew I had to go. I dragged my husband and his co-workers to Bamn! on St. Marks Place in the East Village. You put quarters in a slot, open the door and BAMN, you get a mac n' cheese kroket or a pork bun. What a concept! Actually the automat used to be popular back in the 40's and 50's but there hasn't been an automat in NYC since the 80's. We are glad the automat is back. We love Bamn, it is so retro cool!
