FOR SALE Feb 2007: The Cohen House by Paul Rudolph in Sarasota, Fl.

This has got to be the most gorgeous mid century modern home in South Florida. 1955, Paul Rudolph designed this gem of a house for the Sarasota art patron and mayor. Sarasota's West Coast Symphony was founded in the Cohen House. Rudolph designed the music/conversation pit for the musicians to play.

Everything has been completely restored to Rudolph's original specs including the built-in furniture, covered walkway, carport, overhangs, posts, etc. Even the exterior paint color is historically appropriate. Restoration by Seibert Architects Samuel C. Holladay AIA, Bert Brosmith FAIA, Ball Construction and Frederick Lowe.
