The website is dedicated to preserving the architectural history of Michigan. Sadly, many of these buildings are gone, neglected or have plans to be demolished.

Water Winter Wonderland is a phrase that was used as a slogan for the state of Michigan. "Water Wonderland" appeared on Michigan license plates beginning in 1954. It was changed to "Water-Winter Wonderland" in 1965 and it appeared on Michigan license plates through 1967.
