Is this for real?? GPS Platform shoes for prostitutes?

The shoes are outfitted with a built in GPS receiver and an emergency button that relays both the prostitute's location and a silent alarm signal to public emergency services. I like the idea it will keep the prostitutes safe, I really think platform shoes are bad design. Couldn't they make GPS peep toe shoes? They are in style this season. (via the aphrodite project)
