The dad, Jason sings, plays guitar and keyboards. The daughter, Rachel sings and plays drums. The mom, Tina sings and runs the slide projector. Yes I said slide projector.
You see, they found all these vintage slides from the 1950's - 1980's at estate sales, yard sales, flea markets, etc. They made up all these fun songs about them and formed a family travelling band!
According to their flyer, they are "The world's first and only indy-vaudville conceptual art-rock family Slideshow pop band!"

The show was utterly enjoyable, we were all grinning ear to ear. With songs like "Christian Terror", "The Couch Culture", and "The World's Best Friend" you know you are in for a good time.
Check out their Holiday tour, The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players on Ice. Well, they really aren't on ice, they do wear skates tho'.
Their daughter Rachel is supposed to be in an upcoming issue of Teen Vogue. Wow!
