Virgin Galactic Spaceliners
Virgin just unveiled the design for Spaceship2 which will carry passangers into space in 2009. The 2 and 1/2 hour trips are going to cost approx. $200,000.
The design of the ship is visually stunning, reminding me Verner Panton's Visiona II. (maybe the name of Spaceship2 isn't a coincidence?)
Richard Branson's coolness level just went up a couple of notches in my book. Of course to me he'll always be the guy complaining after the Sex Pistols got arrested on their boat.
