The Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, designed by healthcare architecture firm Jonathan Bailey Associates, opened to patients May 30, 2006. The $111 million, 273-bed, 400,000 square-foot hospital is the latest addition to the Arnold Palmer Medical Center.

My pal Ginger had her 2nd youngin' there. Her name is Shaelagh (pronounced Shay-luh, means 'fairy palace', an old Irish Celtic name). She is cute and soft like a peach! Ginger said that she could hear violin music playing in the hall. Her husband Ron peeked out and there was a real violinist playing live music to the new mommies. "It was quite relaxing", she said.
